What is Art & Expressive Arts Therapy?

Art therapy is a psychotherapy method that utilizes artistic modalities to process emotions, sensations, thoughts and feelings. This approach can be supportive for individuals who have a hard time using traditional talk-based methods to process their internal world.

Expressive Arts Therapy is an experiential process that integrates all creative expressions. Visual arts, music, dance, voice, movement, creative writing, and drama can all be utilized to facilitate self-inquiry and healing. This method supports moving what is unconscious to the conscious and can revive the artist within.



I offer a nonjudgemental, virtual space for adult and teen clients to show up authentically with whatever goal or issue they may have. Art and Expressive Arts Therapy offers a supportive mirror for you to relentlessly accept, and hold you wherever you are in your journey. Even if you don’t consider yourself an artist, this modality sees you as a creator.

What I Offer


Individual 1-on-1 Therapy

If you are looking for a safe, non-judgemental space to be seen, heard and witnessed, you have come to the right place! I offer Individual 1-on-1 therapy for $125 for a 50 min session as well as the option for sliding scale.


Online Therapy

1-on-1 online therapy is a great option for those who live across Canada, may not have the means to access transportation, or a schedule that does not allow for in-person appointments during the weeks.


Group Work and Workshops

Art and Expressive Arts Therapy Workshops can be educational, regulating and encourage team building for organizations, offices and classrooms. I have many workshops available including Power Dynamics: The Responsibility of Leadership, Collaborative Team Building and Regulation, and Creating for Community to name a few. Presentations
